Patrick Bolger is an experienced photographer based in Dublin, Ireland. He photographs a broad range of subjects and projects for commercial and editorial clients. Patrick is a creative and empathetic portrait maker equally comfortable with still and moving images. An astute listener who places connections, authenticity and trust at the centre of all creative output. His work is held in the State Art Collection and he had two portraits featured in the OPW exhibition, ‘Portrait of a Nation’, a selection of works from the State Art Collection. The exhibition featured 82 portraits by 54 artists spanning five centuries. He has made two short documentary films (in conjunction with Areaman) funded by the Irish Film Board. He is currently completing a major 8 year portrait project, WITNESS, The Possibility of Imagination that features portraits and contributions from 100 of the greatest creative minds in Ireland.
